
Onyekachi Ezenwa, LMSW

Onyekachi is a graduate from The University of Houston. She obtained her Masters of Social Work, with a focus of mental and behavioral health. Onyekachi completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, from Lamar University.
Onyekachi previously worked as a group facilitator working with batterers of domestic violence. She used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients identify negative behavior and practice healthy management of them.
In 2020-2021, Onyekachi completed a 1-year internship with The Lovett Counseling Center, in Houston, TX. While at the center, she took part in the “Relapse Prevention” and “Adolescent” Groups. She worked with clients to maintain sobriety and discover their happiness. In August 2022, she began working as a therapist at the Shaunty Healing Center.
Her preferred modality is the use of is CBT. Her passion is to construct healing and helping experiences. She has a dream to build hope and create happiness. She enjoys creativity and expression.
