Family & Life Skills Advocate
Jerimiko graduated from University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Jerimiko has been an advocate for mental health for the past 14 years working along side Grover Shaunty for 12 years of training. She has had many roles ultimately deciding to assist those with mental illnesses gain day to day life skills to help encourage a positive quality of life.
Today, Jerimiko is Manager of Residential Care and Director of Life Skills where she manages 14 employees, while also teaching groups and classes driven to equip our clients with the tools to manage their day to day lives. Jerimiko is also the lead of our job training program. This on campus program gives our clients the tools they would use to later manage and maintain off campus jobs they receive through our program.
Jerimiko’s overall interest is to provide and equip those with mental illnesses the opportunities to make choices in their life to succeed.
